We started R.M.Mehta Nursery School on 11th June 2002 with a strength of 7 students. This year the strength has increased to 18 students. Still it is a small groop, so we decided to join the Navrachana Balwadi section to celebrate different days and festivals.

Cultural Programs

Dahi Handi :

The children dressed up as Lord Krishna enjoyed dancing.

Raksha Bandhan :

The girls tied Rakhi to the boys and celebrated the festival.

Independence day :

The Children were taught songs and told short stories on our great leaders, so our Children could understand the work done by our leaders for our country.

Gandhi Jayanti :

Children were given some information on the Father of the Nation.

Navratri :

We celebrated Navratri by dancing and singing.

Diwali Celebration :

We bursted crackers and distributed sweets.

Christmas Celebration :

Santa clause came to bless our children and fulfill their wishes. We distributed small presents and cakes.

Shiv Jayanti :

The great hero fought for creating a Hindu Nation. Many children were dressed up as Shivaji on this day.

Holi :

Children played with colours and enjoyed the day.

Picnics :

A picnic to Ram Mandir on the Bhonsla military ground was arranged in the rainy season. Children learnt about many flowers and trees of different kinds.
We took our children to Ramdas garden along with the Marathi section students. Here children enjoyed the rides and the slides.
